Creating a forest. Fig 1

Rather than painting forest scenes, especially as the northern hemisphere forests I want to paint and that give the right kind of feel are not easily accessible, I am currently thinking that it could be a good idea to 'create my own forest'. To paint individual trees and to have them hung throughout the gallery space so people are able to walk through the forest of tree paintings. Then to have my ceramic house/houses situated amongst them.

Good to be painting trees again and this is a fig outside Estelle's home... Work in progress but am taking it up to varsity tomorrow for some constructive criticism.

As for the cornucopia paintings... Watch this space... I'm completely re working them.
